Terrell Davis has had an amazing and successful football career as a running back playing in the NFL for the Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2001. After being drafted by the Broncos in 1995 as a sixth-round pick, he is the Denver Broncos all-time leading rusher, with 7,607 rushing yards. Known to players, fans and the media as T.D., he popularized the famous “Mile-High Salute” he would give to fans and teammates in celebration of a touchdown. Davis was sent to the Pro Bowl in 1996, 1997 and 1998 and was named Super Bowl MVP in 1997 and 1998. In 2004, he was inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame and in 2007 he was inducted into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame. In August 2017, Davis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his 11th year of eligibility.
